What Enrichment Camp Looks Like
Enrichment Camp gives dogs a more meaningful outlet than a quick walk, a trip to the dog park, or time spent in a busy group setting. It is a one-on-one experience built around movement, mental stimulation, natural dog behaviors, and time to settle in a calmer environment.
Rather than focusing on formal training goals, Enrichment Camp gives dogs healthy, enriching ways to use their body and mind. During their time with Todd, dogs may sniff, explore, search, chase, tug, problem-solve, forage, or take part in other activities that match what they enjoy and need. The goal is to give dogs something purposeful and fulfilling to do, not simply keep them busy.
This makes Enrichment Camp a flexible option for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and interests. One dog may enjoy active play and movement, while another may benefit more from scent-based activities, food enrichment, or calmer ways to engage with the environment. Each session is built around the individual dog instead of expecting every dog to enjoy the same kind of experience.
Enrichment Camp is designed to give dogs a more thoughtful and personalized experience than simply trying to burn off energy. It gives them chances to move, think, explore, and relax in ways that fit who they are as individual dogs.

What Enrichment Camp May Include
Every dog is different. Todd adjusts each Enrichment Camp session based on the dog’s energy level, personality, interests, and what they can enjoy and handle successfully that day.
Depending on the dog, sessions may include a mix of:
- sniff-focused walks and outdoor exploration
- scent-based games and food enrichment
- interactive play and movement
- problem-solving activities
- structured outlets for chasing, tugging, or searching
- calmer enrichment activities for dogs who enjoy a slower pace
- decompression time, chew opportunities, and quiet rest
Todd chooses activities that give each dog a more meaningful outlet than simply being exercised or kept busy.
The goal is to create a one-on-one experience that feels engaging, enjoyable, and built around the dog in front of him.
Why Movement, Enrichment, and Decompression Work Together
Enrichment Camp is built around the idea that dogs often need more than simply being let outside, taken on a quick walk, or placed in a high-energy group setting. They benefit from chances to move, explore, use their senses, and then slow down again.
That is why each Enrichment Camp session brings together movement, enrichment, and decompression. Each part serves a different purpose. Together, they create a more satisfying and well-rounded experience for the dog.
Movement Gives Dogs a Healthy Physical Outlet
Movement gives dogs a safe, structured way to use their body in ways that feel natural and enjoyable. Depending on the dog, this may include fetch, tug, flirt pole play, exploratory walks, or other activities that provide a healthy outlet for physical energy. The goal is not to run dogs into the ground. It is to help them move, play, and engage with their environment without turning the whole session into nonstop activity.
Enrichment Gives Dogs Something Meaningful to Do
Enrichment gives dogs healthy ways to sniff, search, forage, problem-solve, and stay mentally engaged. Depending on the dog, this may include nose games, food puzzles, DIY enrichment activities, scent-based games, or other experiences that match what they enjoy and need. These activities help break up boredom and give dogs something worthwhile to do instead of just waiting at home or being placed in a high-energy group setting.
Decompression Helps Dogs Settle Back Down
Decompression helps keep the session balanced. Sniffy walks, Kongs, chew time, quiet rest, and calmer recovery periods give dogs a chance to pause and reset between more active parts of the session. Dogs benefit from both engagement and downtime. They need chances to enjoy activity without staying revved up the entire time.

Is Enrichment Camp Right for Your Dog?
Enrichment Camp may be a good fit for dogs who need more than a quick walk, more to do during the day, or a calmer option than busy dog parks and group daycare.
Dogs benefit from chances to move, sniff, explore, problem-solve, and engage with the world around them. For some dogs, that means having a better outlet for physical energy. For others, it means getting thoughtful mental stimulation and one-on-one attention in a setting that feels less overwhelming than a large group environment.
Enrichment Camp may be a good fit for:
- dogs who need additional physical and mental outlets during the day
- dogs who get bored easily or need more to do than a basic walk provides
- dogs who do not enjoy busy daycare or dog park settings
- dogs who benefit from one-on-one attention and individualized activities
- older dogs who may enjoy a calmer, more tailored kind of activity
- busy owners looking for a safe and purposeful way to support their dog’s day
Every dog is different. Todd adjusts each session based on the dog’s personality, interests, energy level, and what they can enjoy and handle successfully that day.
