About Todd Regan and Coach Wags Dog Training

Hey, I’m Todd

Coach Wags Dog Training helps dogs and owners work through the behavior problems that make everyday life harder than it needs to be. I work with dogs who jump, pull on leash, struggle to settle, get overexcited, ignore cues, or make daily routines feel stressful. I also help with more complex issues like reactivity, anxiety, fear, and impulse control.

My training is based on positive reinforcement, but it is also structured, clear, and realistic for the dog and owner in front of me. I look at the dog’s routine, environment, stress level, and learning history so the plan makes sense for that home.

My background in behavior support and hands-on dog training shaped the way I work. I look beyond the surface, pay attention to patterns, and help owners better understand what their dog needs. The goal is simple: better habits, clearer communication, and a calmer, more manageable dog to live with.

Why Choose Us

A Relationship-Based Approach

At Coach Wags, I do not use one-size-fits-all training. I look at your dog’s temperament, history, emotional state, environment, and daily routine, along with your goals and lifestyle. The result is a clear, relationship-based plan that builds better behavior and better communication.

Real Life Training with Individualized Support

Private training helps your dog learn where behavior actually happens: at home and in your neighborhood. Each lesson is built around your dog’s needs and your goals, making training clearer, more useful, and easier to practice in the moments that matter most in daily life at home and on walks.

Signature Day Camp

Day Camp is built to do more than burn off energy. Each session includes one-on-one training, decompression, and enrichment based on your dog’s needs. Dogs get a calmer, more structured outlet while owners get a personalized alternative to traditional daycare that supports better behavior at home.

Coach Wags Alumni

Every dog I work with brings their own personality, learning style, and goals. Some are working on manners, some are building confidence, some need help slowing down, and some just need a better way to understand what we are asking from them.

Here are a few of the dogs who have been part of the Coach Wags journey, including a few of my own.
