Private Sessions

Private Obedience
Private obedience at Coach Wags is all about creating a personalized experience for your dog, considering their unique background, your lifestyle, and your goals. You’ll receive one-on-one training and coaching, a handy training log to keep track of progress, and a weekly email update to stay in the loop.
Why choose Private Obedience?
Because your dog will pick up new skills more quickly than in group classes. Plus, we can dedicate extra time to those tricky areas, and training happens in the comfort of your home, making it less stressful for your furry friend.
Please note: We require an in-person consultation before getting started, which costs $65 and takes about an hour. This helps us tailor the program just for you.
Our courses run for 4, 6, or 8 weeks, with sessions typically lasting around an hour, scheduled once a week—though we can customize this to fit your needs.

Obedience/Behavior Day Training
Day training is a fun and innovative program that helps give your dog’s mind and body a great workout.
Our plans include sessions where the trainer works one-on-one with your dog for about 1 to 1.5 hours, followed by a weekly session with you and the trainer. This way, we make sure your dog’s new behaviors stick and that you feel confident keeping up the training at home.
At Coach Wags, you get to choose which behaviors or fun enrichment activities you’d like us to work on. The trainer will come right to your home—even when you’re at work—so your dog gets individual attention and training. Each week, you’ll receive personalized coaching, a progress log, and an email summary to keep you in the loop.
Training sessions last for 4, 6, or 8 weeks, with options for 1-hour or 1.5-hour sessions, happening at least 4 days a week. For the best results, we recommend 5 days a week.
The starting price is $1,000.

Mental Enrichment Day Training
We understand how tough it is to leave your dogs alone for 8 hours a day while you’re at work. We know how boring that can be for them! When we find positive outlets for our dogs’ energy and behaviors, those challenging behaviors tend to decrease over time. That’s where Coach Wags can help—providing a friendly solution that gives you peace of mind!
Let Coach Wags come by to spend quality time with your pup, whether in your home or out in the community. We focus on mental stimulation, fun brain games, playtime, and other activities that keep your dog happy and engaged.
***Please note, this isn’t a dog walking service, but Coach Wags will make sure your dog gets let outside.
Session Duration: At least once a week or four times a month, with each visit lasting about an hour
Price: $40 per visit
Coaching
Looking for a little extra help with your dog training? Coaching is available for clients who have already worked with Coach Wags and want some guidance to take things to the next level.
You can choose to connect in person or virtually—whatever works best for you—and get personalized tips on anything you’re struggling with. After each session, you’ll receive detailed feedback and a friendly wrap-up email to keep you motivated.
Sessions are booked as needed, each lasting about an hour, at a rate of $65 per session.

Behavior Consulting
When your dog shows behavioral challenges, it’s often due to many different factors coming into play. Coach Wags wants you to know that we’re here to support you every step of the way, so together we can help your dog thrive. We truly believe in you—after all, you’re dedicated to giving your dog the best life possible, otherwise you wouldn’t be here!
At Coach Wags, we take behavior challenges seriously because we want to serve you well. That’s why we start with a thorough consultation, where we chat about your dog’s temperament, how they are with you, and their history. This helps us find the right solutions and work toward better behavior.
Some common challenges include:
– Potty Training
– Barking
– Destructiveness
– Hyperactivity
– Reactivity
– Resource Guarding
– Sound Phobias
– Fear or Shyness
If you’re facing any of these or other concerns, we invite you to schedule an appointment. The initial session is a great opportunity to share details about when the issue started, when it happens now, and what you’ve tried so far. Together, we’ll create a customized training plan and begin implementing it during the session.
For many behavior issues, just a few sessions—like 2 or 3—can lead to noticeable improvements. More complex challenges might require a series of sessions, and sometimes we’ll recommend joining a group class or a specialized program for extra support.
Please note: an in-person consultation is required before any services can begin. The consultation fee is $65 and lasts about an hour.
Number of Sessions: As needed.
Session Duration: The initial session is 1.5 hours; subsequent sessions typically last 1 to 1.5 hours.
Pricing will vary—please reach out to request a consult. Consultation is $65
